Update For MegSeg Beta DJ App

by , 2:00 PM EST, January 30th, 2002

Fidelity Media has released a beta update for MegSeg, bringing it to version 2.1.b3. MegSeg is an MP3 sound mixer designed for DJ's needing portability. The update includes several improvements such as OS X support for the Radio and mixer and a refined search engine. According to Fidelity Media:

Beta 3 released of MegaSeg 2.1 DJ software

MegaSeg 2.1 is a major upgrade that adds Mac OS X support to the Radio and Mobile DJ music mixer and catalog program. The 3rd Beta adds refinements to the search engine, Griffin iMic and Telex P900 support on OS X, improved speed on OS X, Mixer enhancements, and squashes window redraw bugs.

MegaSeg is a DJ music mixing program that allows you to consolidate your CD collection on the hard drive of your Macintosh. You can then segue (mix) between songs for a professional DJ presentation without the need for extra CD players or mixers. Mobile DJ and entertainment business owners can use MegaSeg to easily add another system to their growing business. With the built-in database, search engine, and ease of use, you'll never carry CD's around again!

You can find more information about the beta MegSeg update at the MegSeg Web site. MegSeg 2.1. b3 is available for US$149.00.
