LaunchBar Beta Released From Objective

Objective Development has released a beta version of LaunchBar, bringing it to version 3.2. LaunchBar is a search app that is designed to find files based on abbreviations and can adapt to a users behavior. The latest version includes improved performance and drag and drop functionality. According to Objective Development:

Objective Development today announced the availability of LaunchBar 3.2 Beta for Mac OS X, an award-winning productivity utility that provides lightning fast access to thousands of files, Web-bookmarks, email-addresses and applications just by entering short abbreviations.

WHAT'S NEW IN LAUNCHBAR 3.2:

  • Improved performance: LaunchBar searches are now more than twice as fast!
  • Much improved Drag & Drop functionality, offering a variety of file operations (Aliases, Symlinks, etc.)
  • New preferences panel with a lot of new preferences options
  • Alias Names can now be assigned to URLs and Email Addresses as well
  • The list of running apps can now be browsed backwards using the Shift key
  • Some minor bugfixes as well as other improvements and optimizations
