Marathon Computer Shipping Front Mount Slide Rails

by , 7:00 AM EST, March 28th, 2002

Marathon Computer is now shipping slide rails for equipment racks. The Front Mount Only Sliderails are designed for users needing simplified upgrade and equipment removal access. According to Marathom Computer:

Marathon Computer announces slide rail access for racks with only front rails

Slide rails are a convenient option for equipment racks, allowing users to perform upgrades and maintenance without removing the equipment from the rack cabinet. Until now, this option has been limited to those racks that have both front and rear rails.

Marathon Computer has broken the slide rail barrier with their new FMOS rackmount. The FMOS (Front Mount Only Sliderails) allows owners of traveling cases, telco and MIDI racks, and others that typically use a front-rail-only system, at long last to enjoy the conveniences of slide rails.

You can find more information about the FMOS rails at the Marathon Computer Web site. The FMOS rails are available for US$175.00.
