Apple has revived the Think Different campaign to salute former US President Jimmy Carter. President Carter was recently named the recipient of the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, which is why Apple is featuring him on its home page. Underneath an image of President Carter is a link to the Nobel Web site concerning his award.

The Mac Observer Spin:

Ostensibly, this is simply honoring the recipient of this year's Nobel Peace Prize, but as our forum members are suggesting, this also borders on politics. That is an unusual for a technology company, but then Apple has often been willing to take the chance. Whatever you might think of Jimmy Carter as a president, his work since he left office to further peace throughout the world is indeed worthy of a salute. We salute Apple for doing so.
