Apimac has released a new beta version of Apimac Address Book, bringing it to version 5.0b2. Apimac Address Book is a telephone and address utility designed for Internet applications. The beta release features several new enhancements including improved preference options and code optimizations. According to Apimac:

The new version mainly introduces a Preferences option to handle the new four ways as postal addresses can be printed, the address position at the Envelope Printing Style can be now intuitively arranged in centimeters and in inches, a new bar alerts Mac OS X users of the Sync progression, the Sync feature is faster and synchronizes the Birthday field, extended support in vCards for accented characters and Unicode, and better handling of multiple properties in vCards fields.

The new beta also implements the usual round of code optimization, bug fixes, and minor interface improvements.
