Gefen Now Shipping VGA Extender

Gefen is now shipping the VGA Extender. The VGA Extender is a cable designed for connecting LCD or CRT monitors to distances of 150 feet. The category-5 cable retains resolution up to 1600x1200 and ships with power supply and foot print sender. According to Gefen:

Gefen's new monitor extension solution, the VGA Extender, uses one category-5 cable to extend any LCD or CRT monitorup to 150 feet from the computer while maintaining up to 1600x1200 resolutions.

Available online, it connects in seconds and comes with small, foot-print sender and receiver units, a six-foot VGA cable and a five-volt power supply.

You can find more information about the VGA Extender at the Gefen Web site. VGA Extender is available for US$299.00.
