IOGEAR Shipping New Retractable Cable Systems For Mobile Users

by , 4:00 PM EST, March 26th, 2004

IOGEAR is now shipping ReelQuick retractable cable systems. The ReelQuick line of cable systems are designed to reduce cable clutter found in the laptop cases of mobile users. The ReelQuick cords come in a variety of configs including FireWire and USB versions with lengths up to 5 feet. According to IOGEAR:

College students, mobile professionals and laptop users are now able to extend their computing reach with IOGEAR's new ReelQuick retractable communications cables.

The cords are an affordable way to unscramble the wires that snake through computer users' briefcases or bags. The new cables provide five feet of retractable wire for connecting printers, modems, USB peripherals and other communication devices. The wires retract with a gentle tug and feature a lightweight, elegant and compact design for easy deployment and storage.

ReelQuick retractable cables are available in phone / modem, FireWire, Ethernet or USB flavors.

You can find more information about the ReelQuick line at the IOGEAR Web site. The ReelQuick line is available for US$19.95 each.
