GarageCUBE has announced a new app for Mac users, Modul8. Modul8 is a utility designed for video mixing and composting. The app features support for all QuyickTime codecs and management for up to 10 layers. According to GarageCUBE:

Modul8 is a revolutionary application designed for real time video mixing and compositing. It has been designed for VJs and live performers. Created by professional VJs and developped by real time imaging specialists, all coming from the video game industry, Modul8 offers a state of the art user-interface combined with very high performances.

You can find more information about the Modul8 release at the GarageCUBE Web site. Modul8 is slated for release in June.
