End If Releases Beta Version Of MediaMaid

End If has released a new beta version of MediaMaid FM, bringing it to version b6. MediaMaid FM is a utility designed for media asset management within FileMaker pro databases. The latest beta version features bug fixes and tooltip enhancements. According to End If:

End If Software announced today the first public beta release of MediaMaid FM 6b6, a powerful, easy to customize media asset management solution for use with FileMaker® Pro.

MediaMaid FM is focused on exchanging and publishing data and on customization. It is developed with and runs under FileMaker® Pro, the leading database for workgroups.

The Filemaker Pro data format guarantees extensive commutability: Exchange of data with other local or remote FileMaker® Pro databases, exchange with FileMaker® web databases, XML import and export, SQL import and export, as well as import from digital camera devices. Due to the FileMaker basis, it's easy for the user to change the appearance of the interface and layouts and adjust them to personal needs.MediaMaid&Mac250; FM also takes advantage of the powerful FileMaker® Pro Search technologie. MediaMaid&Mac250; FM offers much more, and especially more customizable search possibilities than probably any other media asset management for OSX.

Version 6b6 is the first public beta:

  • Fix: MMAddressbook-several small bugs
  • Fix: Storable search-several small bugs
  • Enh. Tooltips for all toolbars
  • New: Huge Category-layout for keywords added
  • Fix: MMManager comes to front on click during cataloging progress
  • Fix: Info-Layout for keywords needs to be updated
  • Fix: Registration screens for Plug in occur
  • Open: Deleting from all Categories does not put records into trash sometimes
  • Open: Link Clients and Authors in templates
  • Open: Smart categories sometimes change the sort direction on click
  • Open: command a, c, x, v and the replace function do not work correctly, when the cursor is in a field
