Mark/Space Ships Missing Sync 4.0 for Palm OS

by , 12:30 PM EDT, July 29th, 2004

Mark/Space, Inc. announced Thursday that it is now shipping The Missing Sync 4.0 for Palm OS.

This release supersedes PalmSource's HotSync Manager for Mac OS X, the software that allows data to be exchanged between a Palm OS handheld and a Mac. New features include SyncMinder, a network sync over Wi-Fi/AirPort which reminds users when it’s time to synchronize, and wireless internet connection sharing over Bluetooth and desktop mounting of memory cards.

Additional new features include iPhoto and iTunes integration, Conduit Profiles that allow the user to easily turn on and off groups of conduits, Internet sharing for sending and receiving email or downloading AvantGo content, a streamlined mini-window view, improved install and backup capabilities and SyncMinder to remind the user when it's time to sync.

The Missing Sync 4.0 is priced at US$39.95 and available for download through the company's online store. Version 4.0 requires a Mac running Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later and a handheld running Palm OS 4 or Palm OS 5 with USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
