Other World Computing Ships New SuperDrive Upgrades

Other World Computing has announced SuperDrive upgrades for nearly all Apple towers and laptops. The SuperDrive upgrades provide expanded burning and authoring capabilities. According to Other World Computing:

Other World Computing (OWC) today announced a full line of CD-R/RW+DVD(R/RW SuperDrive upgrades for most Apple PowerMac G3s, G4s and G5s, the Apple G4 Cube and select Apple PowerBook computers.

"With our full line of internal SuperDrive upgrade kits, it's easy to add high-speed DVD- and CD-burning capability to most any existing Apple model," said Larry O'Connor, president of OWC. "And the best part is we are able to provide compatibility with all of the popular software applications including Apple iDVD, Apple DVD Studio, Apple DiscBurner, Apple iTunes, Roxio Toast, CharisMac Discribe, NTI Dragonburn and others."

Subject: "Nearly all Towers and Laptops"??

Sorry but "Nearly all ... laptops." doesn't jive with "...and select Apple PowerBook computers" That leaves out any number of Powerbooks and ALL iBooks.

No iBook option? That just plain bites. We have a G4 dualie, but it already has a SuperDrive.

Sorry OWC, no orders forthcoming from this direction.
