DEVONtech Updadtes PhotoStickies And Releases ThumbsUp 5.0

DEVONtechnologies has released an update for PhotoStickies and a new version of ThumbsUp. PhotoStickies is a utility designed for using digital images in a variety of environments. The update adds opacity enhancements and expanded commands. The ThumbsUp release now generates QuickTime movie thumbnails. According to DEVONtechnologies:

DEVONtechnologies Ltd. updates its shareware web cam and image viewer PhotoStickies and its free thumbnail generator ThumbsUp.

The new version 5.1 of PhotoStickies displays images with full opacity when the user moves the mouse pointer over it, features "Copy/Paste Filters" commands and introduces handy shortcuts to switch between the four areas of the Inspector panel.

Also, PhotoStickies 5.1 adds a "Post Cam" command to the "Control" menu, is able to set the threshold of "Black & White" filters and comes with an overall improved performance and compatibility with more web cam servers.

The freeware thumbnail generator ThumbsUp 4.0 now also generates thumbnails of QuickTime movies -- as the first application of its kind.
