DV Dailies - Digidesign Updates ProTools To 6.7

Digidesign has released an update for Pro Tools, bringing it to version 6.7. Pro Tools is a professional audio production suite designed for musicians and audio engineers. The update features expanded MIDI sequencing capabilities and new tempo based functions.

The company says that the update delivers tempo-dependent audio placement, tempo-dependent automation, graphic tempo editing, precise control of meter changes, MIDI step input, enhanced support for instrument plug-ins, MIDI Detective, and Beat Detective LE.

Digidesign has also brought enhanced MIDI functionality to the Windows version of the product, achieving true cross-platform parity.

You can find more information about the Pro Tools update at the Digidesign Web site. The update is free for users of Pro Tools|HD and HD Accel running Pro Tools TDM 6.4 or higher. Registered users of other versions can update for US$75.00.
