QuickerTek Confirms Handle Compatibility With New PowerBooks, Adds Bundle

QuickerTek's aluminum handles for PowerBooks is fully compatible with Apple's recent PowerBook revision, the company said late Tuesday.

The lightweight handle also doubles a stand when the PowerBook is on a flat surface. Handles for the 12-, 15-, and 17-inch PowerBooks are available for $50 each. QuickerTek is also offering an $85 bundle for a limited time that includes a handle and 2dbi wireless antenna for boosting AirPort performance. The antenna normally costs $90 on its own.

It looks to me that this handle won't necessarily be "compatible" with the padded sleeves that Brenthaven briefcases and backpacks use to protect a Powerbook. The Powerbook is actually a rather tight fit into the pouch (which then velcroes inside the breifcase itself) so I don't see it fitting with the handle on. Too bad.
