Give me a book that lets me build a dual-G5 system for $100 or less, then I'd be interested. Who wants almost 30-year old technology?

... if you get 2 build a G5 for under $100, then Apple's robbing us blind!

I had an Apple //e, right after the "apple 1" there are still people who swear by those machines because unlike todays computers they arent finicky, dont crash and u can code RIGHT INTO THE BIOS!

Learn something before u go on a rant about who wants something 30 yrs old.

First - it's *aren't* and *don't* (and *you* if I'm being a true pedant). There are commas you could sprinkle through *your* rant which would make it easier, if nothing else, to read.

Secondly - Mr Guest's post was irony; you know, what you press your shirty with.

The history here is as bad as the language. The Apple //e came out in 1983, a full seven years after the Apple 1. The Apple ][ was the machine that came "right after the 'Apple 1.'" The Apple //e didn't come out until after the Apple III debacle.

I also recall, having developed for the Apple ][ in the 70's, that it did crash, and furthermore, speaking as a developer of modern machines, including Mac OS X running PowerMacs, the majority of crashes are caused by programmers who use OS (BIOS?) calls directly.
