Arizona Fraterinity & Sorority Kicks Off iPod Modeling Contest
by , 6:00 AM EST, March 29th, 2005
Recognizing that Apple's iPod has already become an icon across universities everywhere, two Greek chapters at the University of Arizona have taken the music player to a new level with the iPose modeling contest and philanthropy effort.
The Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and the Alpha Phi sorority chapters have launched the contest this week with 10 fraternity guys and 10 sorority girls showing off a lot of a skin and a little iPod shuffle. Voting is open to the public for the best guy and girl, with winners receiving a 20GB iPod, second places scoring an iPod shuffle, and third places receiving a $50 iTunes Music Store certificate.
For each vote the site takes in, the organizations will also donate ten cents to the Save the Children Tsunami Relief Fund.
Voting at the website closes on April 7 at 8:00 PM.

QuoteSoft-core? I've seen racier stuff in newspaper advertisements for major department store chains. Go to the beach; women wear a third of what is being worn on those pages. As long as they raise money for tsunami relief I'm not worried.Mom wrote:
Good job MacObserver linking to a soft-core porn site.

Good job at being so out of ways to smear Apple that you have to resort to calling people in swimsuits "softcore porn".
Also, considering how many people use porn, you might want to reconsider talking about it like it's a bad thing. The most your post accomplished was dissapointing some people when they got to the site.
"That page shows the true image of the actors behind the silhouettes."
That makes absolutely no sense. None of those people were actors in the silhouette ads. Although if anyone should have been, it's Colin.
