onOne Software Purchases Photoshop & Xpress Plugins

New software company onOne Software launched today with the simultaneous announcement it was purchasing several products from QuarkXpress and Photoshop plugin makers Extensis and LizardTech. Products included in onOne's acquisition and launch are pxl SmartScale, PhotoFrame, Intellihance Pro, Mask Pro, PhotoTools, and QX-Tools Pro from Extensis, and the Genuine Fractals product line from LizardTech.

According to onOne, Extensis and LizardTech will continue to support those products until July 31st, 2005. After that date, onOne Software will assume all responsibility for all seven products.

You can find more information on onOne Software and all seven of the Photoshop and QuarkXpress Xtensions at the company's Web site. In addition, all three companies have posted a FAQ through onOne Software for people with questions about the transition.

Extensis and LizardTech will continue to sell and maintain their other product lines.
