Iomega Introduces Hard Drive XL Series

Iomega announced the immediate availability of the Desktop Hard Drive XL Series on Monday. The XL is a small four-drive enclosure offering 1TB (terabyte) of storage. It includes FireWire 400, FireWire 800, and USB 2.0 interfaces, Retrospect Express, and can be configured as RAID 0. The Hard Drive XL houses four 250GB 7200RM drives, and is priced at US$899.95

I'd love to look at it but they haven't updated their web site yet.

OK it's on the web site now.

They use SATA drives which is good. I like that the drives are user swappable. It would be nice to be able to get the case without drives.
