New Apple Store Coming to Colorado

Colorado is finally slated for a third Apple Store, based on job postings on Apple's Web site. The job listings, which were posted on December 21, are for Assistant Store Managers, positions at the Genius Bar, a Market Manager, and full and part time Specialists.

The store will be at the Flatiron Crossing mall, which is nicely situated between Denver and Boulder. The location is convenient for Boulder residents, since they currently have to travel to the southern part of the Denver metro area to visit the Aspen Grove store, or southeast to the Cherry Creek store.

There is no official word yet on when the Flatiron Crossing Apple Store will open.

I hated driving all the way to Denver to go to an Apple store. Flat Irons is a nice location, but I hate the way the parking lots are layed out!

That reminds me I have a $85 gift certificate good at any Flat Irons store!

Those poor Colorado residents. Nebraska doesn't have any stores! The nearest store is Kansas City - at least 3 hours away for most of us... When will it be our turn?

What about the Littleton store on the Northeast side of the Metro and right of 470-W?

I was really hoping this would be in Colorado Springs!

I'm coming from the North so Littleton is even further then Cherry Creak.

The only open spot in Flat Irons is anchor store about 3/4 the size of Dillards. It looks they are setting up to start construction on it. This will be a huge store!! Very Nice!

Exactly! There are plenty of Mac people in the Springs! Voelker just doesn't do it.

Pfft... Voelker is the exact reason Apple will not open a store in the Springs. I've always been happy with them!

Based on the characteristic black panels covering the store facade, it looks like the new Apple store at Flatiron Crossing will be on the lower level, near the escalators below the food court, between the Victoria's Secret and the Pottery Barn Kids.

It appears that after talking with the managemnt staff from the Cherry Creek store (trying to get a job) the opening date will be sometime in July for Flat Irons. And yes, next to the escalators for the food court is looking like its going to be the location. This is gunna be sweet.
