AJA Intros KONA LSe Video Card For Power Mac G5

AJA Video on Monday debuted KONA LSe, a PCI-Express standard definition video capture card for use with the Power Mac G5. Shipping March 20 for US$995, the new card offers the same features as the KONA LS, which isn't compatible with PCI-Express. AJA Video said that the KONA LS will remain available.

Features found in the KONA LSe include: 12-bit component or composite/S-Video analog input and output; 10-bit SDI input and two independent SDI outputs; AES input and output, with sample rate conversion on the former; balanced analog audio input and output; six-channel SCI embedded audio support; broadcast-quality TBC with VHS support; Genlock; and RS-422 Machine Control.
