Build Your Own Mac-O-Lantern

Just because Jack-O-Lanterns come out only at Halloween doesn't mean they can't work as computer cases. If you have a spare Mac sitting around, you can give it a new home - at least for a few days - inside a Jack-O-Lantern.

This pumpkin PC started life as a Dell computer, but the step-by-step instructions will work just fine for a Mac, too.

The Classic Mac "Pumputer" people could have hurt themselves AND damaged the parts they were trying to harvest.

All you need is a long hex wrench and a case spreader, if a case spreader isn't handy you can use a screwdriver if you don't mind gouging the case. With those things you can have a 128 through Classic open in 5 minutes flat. I am sure the instructions are a google search away.

Wow. Scary.
