NEC Announces Three New Wide Screen Monitors

NEC Display Solutions of America has announced three new wide screen monitors in its AccuSync series at 19, 20, and 22-inch sizes. The screen format is 16:10, and the prices start at US$229.99

The models are ASLCD193WXM (19-inch), ASLCD203WXM (20-inch) and ASLCD223WXM (22-inch).


NEC AccuSync Series

These new displays are designed for business and multimedia use with integrated speakers, 5-millisecond response times and 1000:1 contrast ratios.

The 20-inch and 22-inch models have a screen resolution of 1680 x 1050 while the 19-inch model's resolution is 1440 x 900.

DVI and VGA video inputs only are supported.

Some of the other features include:

  • AccuColor control system with five pre-sets
  • Headphone jack
  • RoHS & WEEE compliant
  • VESA compliant
  • Energy Star 4.0 compliant
  • Three year warranty and 24/7 support from NEC

The displays are available immediately. The 19, 20, and 22-inch models are priced at US$229.99, $289.99 and $359.99 respectively.

Subject: monitor out connection

could anyone tell me how connect the NEC 22" external monitor to my laptop? I pressed Fn + F8 only the desktop background sent to the monitor that no icon.
on the monitor just a still picture of laptop background.

Sounds like you are in extended desktop mode. Try hitting FN-F8 again to see if it switches to mirrored mode. Usually the function key will cycle through the various modes.
