Pangea Software announced the immediate availability of the new desktop tab utility TabMeister on Tuesday. TabMeister is a Dock-like application that lets users organize applications, documents, and folders in tabs that act like pop-up windows.

Tabs can be attached to the sides or bottom of your display, and rolling over an item in a tab displays a large version of its icon in the center of your Desktop.

TabMeister is priced at US$14.95, and is available for download at the Pangea Software Web site.

From looking at the little movie on the site, it looks like it does a couple of things drag thing doesn't do. (No doubt DT also has some things this doesn't do.)
By the way, this is from the guy who wrote Nanosaur, Power Pete, etc. etc. so I give him the benefit of the doubt.
