Steve Jobs' E-mail to Jerry Seinfeld (Cartoon)

by , 4:30 PM EDT, August 22nd, 2008

The Mac community is buzzing with the word that Jerry Seinfeld is accepting $10M from Microsoft to do Vista ads. Now that the Fake Steve Jobs (Dan Lyons) is no longer active to weigh in on that decision, it's left to Joy of Tech to tickle our fancy with how an e-mail from Mr. Jobs might look.

Joy of Tech (first frame only)

The entire fictional e-mail from Mr. Jobs can be found at The Joy of Tech.

Of course, in real life, Mr. Jobs would be using a Mac Pro (not an iMac) since we no longer have PowerMacs.

In real life, Jobs could use the iMac he's depicted using in the comic...

This is less than entertaining. Just another reason for this site not to exist. Yawn.

Apparently none of the previous posters are familiar with the Joy of Tech cartoons. They are all this "funny."

What a complete disservice to the ex-Fake Steve Jobs. This is a pitiful attempt at humor. Not siding with the actual Steve Jobs, but appreciating good humor.

Subject: What buzz in the Apple Community . . . .

. . . all I have seen is articles with personal comments. Not the "buzz" that is implied. This article has as much false hype and implied humor as the cartoon. So sad.

I thought it was good. The Bee Movie was a flop and Seinfeld was a show about "Nothing" The ads won't help at all and what a great way to stick it to Mr Softee by using the 10 million to buy Apple products.

Subject: Seinfeld is appropriate

I always thought that Jerry Seinfeld, in his sitcom, was a whiny loser who had trouble dealing with reality. Very appropriate for MS's campaign...
